Kenji was one of a number of artists commissioned by Cox Rayner Architects in conjunction with the Queensland Government’s art+place program for the new Ipswich Courthouse. Stream is a series of porcelain objects located on Level 4 of the Courthouse building.  

“When you throw something light into a stream, it may be swept away by the current. If it’s heavy, it may sink where it is, or slowly keep rolling along the bottom of the riverbed, growing and changing along the way. A seemingly small event, can have a large impact in diverse ways and may cause it to develop and change.” — Kenji
